Volunteers Needed - Predator Free Miramar
Come lend a hand as we partner with Wellington City Council and NEXT Foundation on a citizen led initiative aiming to eradicate rats and stoats from the Miramar peninsula. The team will be walking sections of the Miramar peninsula and placing chew cards baited with peanut butter at locations corresponding with points on a map on Monday 19th March. Collection of the chew cards will be on Thursday 22nd March. You can help out on one or both of these days. Book online by following the link to our website or contact us today!

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
