Census 2018 - Need Help?
The various SeniorNets through out New Zealand are providing, to those 55 years of age and over, help or assistance to those who need it to complete the upcoming Census. This is at ther request of the Statistics Department.
Palmerston North SeniorNet is doing their thing on Tuesday the 6th March 2018 - from about 9am to about 3pm. You are welcome to come to our premises - Suite 2 (ground floor at the back of the building) JayPac Homes Building, 105 Princess Street Palmerston North (between the KFC and McDonalds - near Ferguson Street) - and use our computers to complete the Census on line if you wish. There will be SeniorNet members there to assist you if or when you need help etc.
It would help us if you would contact us on 06 359 4367 to arrange a time between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday 06/03/2018 - thanks.
Please bring, with you, your Census 2018 instructions - this will have your access code - these instructions also mention that you may ring 0800 CENSUS (0800 236 787) to request to have the paper forms posted to you.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
