More Regulation: Not helping tenants

While ignoring some of the worst ‘slumlords’ in the country, most of the landlords in New Zealand do aim to provide safe, healthy homes to tenants; however, we are at a cross roads.

With the increasing changes in rules and regulations, landlords start to wonder that with current house prices as they are, why don’t I just sell it?

Last year we looked into how increasing regulations would affect the rental market, and it still rings true today.

Shocking anti-Māori propaganda posted in mailboxes

I am a Māori and today I found some shocking anti-Māori propaganda which had been obviously hand delivered into my mailbox. It was a call to action and as the neice of the late Moana Jackson and Syd Jackson, two intelligent and educated Māori leaders I am appalled to think that someone in my Island Bay neighbourhood is helping to spread these hateful messages.
