Sat 10 Feb along the Parade, 9:30am to 12:30pm
Here’s your chance to pass on goodies you’re not using anymore like bric-a-brac, household items, kids’ toys, books, etc
- set up along The Parade (if you’re a resident or a business there)
- or Shorland Park (if you’re local but live on another street, contact Island Bay Festival on Facebook to register, include your name, address, a contact phone number and the type of yard sale you’re planning).
We’re advertising when and where in the Dom Post along with the Island Bay Festival website and facebook page.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
