We're exploring the rental market and would love to hear about what you've encountered and what issues you'd like us to explore

Megan Leov Reporter from Marlborough Express

Perhaps you're a student looking for a flat for the new university year. Or maybe you're wanting to move out of home, but are continually being put off by the lack of liveable flats in Marlborough.

Are you attempting to find a suitable place for your family, but find yourself being denied from every place you apply?

Is the increasing price of rent forcing you to settle for somewhere barely adequate?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Dehorners

Ron from Fairhall - Renwick - Woodbourne

SharpAs Tool Tips

Pictured is a set of dehorners brought in for sharpening. Like all cutting tools, a sharp edge is essential for them to work efficiently and cleanly.

Good to see that pain relief is now part of the process as well.

If you have tools, knives, kitchen utensils, or other items that need sharpening or repair, come and see me:
🔹 Redwood Market – Saturdays
🔹 Marlborough Farmers’ Market – Sundays
Or contact me directly on 027 444 5535.

Cheers,
Ron
