Why you should hire a Bookkeeper

Owner/Operator from On Task Bookkeeping Services

It can be overwhelming when running a business, below are 10 reasons why you should consider hiring a Bookkeeper:-

1. Understand your company’s financial situation and know where the money is going. Incorrect coding of transactions could be a very costly mistake to your business resulting in G.S.T. implications.
2. Your time is worth every cent. Focus on what you do best and generate sales.
3. Work on your business and not in your business. It can be frustrating trying to figure out how to do it or how to correct any errors. This can result in making mistakes. Your bookkeeper will know what to do and where to find the transactions.
4. File your tax return on time to avoid any unnecessary penalty costs.
5. Get paid on time and increase cash flow.
6. An accounting software can be easy to work on if set up correctly. The bookkeeper has more knowledge on the accounting software which will help eliminate any errors.
7. Bookkeepers are very quick to respond if you have any queries on your accounts.
8. A bookkeeper has got the experience and education in all aspects of bookkeeping and they will make sure that your books are entered accurately.
9. Bookkeepers do the day to day transactions accurately and to a high standard. They can also advise you on certain issues that may affect your business in the near future, such as late invoice payment and cash flow problems.
10. Believe me, your accountant will appreciate that you have a bookkeeper. In the long run, it will save you money as you won’t be dropping everything off in a shoebox with the accountant. At the end of the financial year the accountant will use the data in the system for reporting and filing to IRD.
Set up an appointment with On Task Bookkeeping today, you’ll be glad you took the first step towards a healthy financial future for your business.
