Update on Thames Town Bus service
The Thames public bus trial has been running since the beginning of December and is proving to be very popular. In the week before Christmas, the bus recorded over 300 rides. Getting really high tech - there is now an app you can download to your smartphone which will tell you your closest bus stop, when the next bus is due, and how far away the bus is. How cool is that! Please share as there are still lots of people who do not about the bus service

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
