Duvauchelle water supply update
Duvauchelle gets its water from Pipers Stream and, once treated, it is stored in a reservoir. When it rains a lot, the stream can become very dirty and our ability to use it is reduced until the water clears.
Depending on how much you use, there is a chance the reservoir may run out.
What you can do to help:
• Keep water use to essentials – food preparation and hygiene;
• Cut back your shower time;
• Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth;
• Avoid watering lawns and gardens;
• Don’t hose your boat or other water craft. If you must clean it, scrub it with bucket of water.
It would help us if you could share this information with your neighbours.
