Hi all, some time ago Jan Andersen placed a post re her view of the changes at the Library. There were many replies supporting her, acknowledging the changes were significant and local voices were being 'ignored'. Jan has continued looking into this and asked me to provide this link for you. What she thought would be printed in the Leader has appeared on 'Stuff'.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Wheelchair Needed
