Double Room in Lovely House - Couples Considered

Jennifer from Papamoa Beach

We are a professional couple living in a lovely 3 bedroom house on a good sized section in Papamoa. We are about 1km from the beach and close to the Sandhurst exit off the motorway so about midway between Papamoa Plaza and Bayfair.

The room available has a queen bed, good sized wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables (each with a lamp). There is an additional cost of $25 per week to cover power, internet, rubbish etc...

- Single Person Rent & services: $225 p/w (direct debit)
- Couple Rent & services: $300 p/w (direct debit)
- 1 week rent in advance
- Bond 2 weeks rent

The kitchen is modern with a separate pantry and has the main lounge and dining on either side. There is a second lounge and both have TV's. There is a study with a decent printer.

The main bathroom is huge with a generous walk-in shower, a bath, 2 sinks and a heated towel rail. There is a spare fridge/freezer in the garage for all your food and outside parking is available for one extra car.

We are social drinkers and have friends from time to time for a casual evening or BBQ. We like a reasonably tidy home and a flat mate would be expected to keep the bathroom clean and vacuum occasionally. We don't care about age (our current flattie is 29yrs) but would like someone who enjoys a chat and a beer or wine from time to time.

We have 2 elderly cats!

The person/people should be relaxed, GSOH, clean and tidy, fit and healthy, enjoy the occasional drink

The room has a queen bed, bedside tables x 2, bedside lamps x 2, chest of drawers. The house has Freeview, broadband internet with WIFI.

Should You Stay Home During Open Homes or Private Viewings? 🏡🤔

Matt from Matt Wineera - Thats Real Estate with Matt Wineera

Should You Stay Home During Open Homes or Private Viewings? 🏡🤔

When you list your home for sale, you might wonder: should you be there during inspections? While it’s your home, many agents suggest stepping out during these moments.
Here’s why:
1️⃣ Protecting Your Peace 🛡️
Selling a home is an emotional journey, and potential buyers often share candid opinions about your home. While their feedback can be valuable, it might feel personal when you’re nearby. Stepping out helps you avoid any unintended stress or discomfort.

2️⃣ Creating a Comfortable Atmosphere 🌟
Buyers want to imagine themselves living in your home, and that’s easier to do when they feel at ease. Your presence, even with the best intentions, might make them feel like guests rather than potential owners.

💡 Pro Tip: Take a break—go for coffee ☕ or enjoy a walk in the park 🌳 during inspections. It can make a big difference for everyone involved.

Have questions about selling your home or real estate in general?

Women's open training this Thursday 5th December at Morland Fox Park

Nika Rikiriki from Blue Rovers Football Club

Join Chris Acott, our Director of Football, for a women's opening training session at Morland Fox Park from 6pm to 7.30pm this Thursday 5th December. The open training session is an opportunity for players to come and meet like-minded people and experience women's football at the Blue Rovers.

Leonie Gordon, the Club Secretary and women's coordinator, says: "There are some phoenominal women footballers in Tauranga, all with their own goals, values and motivations. We offer a supportive women's management group, healthy team culture and quality coaching for women who want to play their football closer to home, and who want a club they can call their own."
