Get gardening workshop coming up
Hello neighbours, we have a range of workshops coming up this month at the Rabbithole / Akatarawa - including 'Get gardening' - go from zero to gardening in 4 hours! This workshop is good for beginners who want to finally get their gardens happening this season - we'll cover all the basics. It's also good for the more experienced: you'll leave having your complete planting and maintenance plan for the year sorted, PLUS your first tray of seedlings started - and all your questions answered. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
