SPADE AID POSTPONEMENT - Now Sunday 30th July

Community Engagement Advisor from Greater Wellington Regional Council

We have been monitoring the weekend’s weather closely and unfortunately the weather on Sunday has not changed. We’re expecting a heavy downpour early morning and steady rain/showers throughout the time we would be planting. As much as we love rain at times, we want this day to be enjoyable for the plants and the people, so have decided to postpone Spade Aid to Sunday 30th July, same time and same place!
For those people wanting to practise their amazing planting skills, don’t forget we have a community planting day the weekend before at the Tilley Road entrance, Paekakariki. For more details on this event, see goo.gl...

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
