This month Grace Johnstone is the lucky candidate to be granted our $500 FreshChoice Oxford Community Fund! We think that her training for Parafed Canterbury at the 2017 Halberg Junior disability Games in Auckland is a worthwhile cause for the local community, and we are pleased to be able to be a part of the contribution efforts.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
