Heritage & Historic Landscape Invaded
A combined failure by FNDC (Far North District Council) and Heritage New Zealand has allowed this monstrous structure (22 meters long, 12 meters wide & 6.4 meters high) at the heart of the 2nd most important historic place in Northland: 400 meters from the 2nd oldest Mission House and St. Peter's Church; 100 meters from Aspley House and the General Store built in 1870's by Mr. Atkinson.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
