Public transport payment revolution could roll out around the country. Are you in favour?
A debit or credit card may soon be all you need to travel on buses, trains and ferries across the country - unless you are in Auckland.
Greater Wellington Regional Council is looking for an operator for the new system, which could arrive in Wellington as soon as 2020. Each time you jump on public transport around the nation, you would swipe your credit or debit card and be charged the most cost-effective fare. What do you think? Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
