Chef currently seeking any surplus walnuts, figs or apples and feijoas or any other excess fruits
I am currently preserving, bottling and pickling as I do every autumn for my family. I have just made about 4 kgs of quince paste and I am wanting to make fig paste and apple cider. I am hunting around for good sized walnuts to freeze down and I am gathering feijoas to freeze down for summer time. Will swap for jars of sambal, or my green tomato and zucchini pickle or for my fresh quince paste or fresh rhubarb from my garden.
