Queenstown Mother's Day Fun Run/Walk

Jennian Homes Central Otago

The nationwide Jennian Homes Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk returns this year, offering women the chance to have fun, get active and support a worthy cause.

Sunday 14th May 2017 at 8:30am – 11:30am
Lake Hayes Pavilion - 1/719 Gibbston Hwy

There’s a reason we run this event every year. Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Kiwi women, claiming the lives of over 3,000 women each year. We have partnered up with the Heart Foundation to support its ‘Heart Foundation for Women’ campaign, which aims to help stop our women dying prematurely of heart disease.

Join us for a 5km run, walk or leisurely stroll this Mother’s Day.
With 20+ events nationwide, it’ll be a great start to the day and you’ll be doing your bit to help beat heart disease.

All participants will receive a Dick Frizzell designed event t-shirt.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
