Flashback: cash for information on crime. Would it work these days?
We've been trawling through our old papers and came across the "Kapi-Mana Secret Witness Programme."
In the 80s local businesses and "anonymous local people" put up cash rewards for information leading to solving local crime.
The column ran next to the weekly police column.
Do you remember this? Would it work these days? Would you like to see a regular police column pertaining to Porirua City?

Stamps wanted
I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
