Rural Rental Home Required!
We are a professional couple in our 50's looking for another home to rent in the Hamilton rural area. Im moving back to the Waikato after 5 years in Taranaki, but my partner has been renting a country home in Gordonton for the last 10 years. We were happy to stay in this area but the farm he is on has been sold, and sadly we have to move by June 1. Its just us now as all the kids have flown the nest! We are not into drugs or parties and would treat your house as our own. We have pets (what family doesn't) - small dog, 2 cats and a few chickens. All housetrained - apart from the chickens of course, but they're not allowed inside anyway! My dog is used to a perimeter fence so will not bother stock. We have great references (including the pets!). Would prefer 2-4 bdm, with garaging. Love to hear from you! Call Sheryl 027-255 8842 or Paul 027-393 3287
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
58.9% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.4% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.7% ... It is complicated
A Neighbourly Riddle! Don’t Overthink It… Or Do?😜
