Meeting tonight
Thank you to all those who attended the meeting the other day and discussed the uses for Teviot Street Reserve. Also thank you to everyone who has brought forward ideas since the meeting. It was great to see different organisations, schools and of course the close community gathered for discussion. We are still encouraging people to get on board and show their support by attending tonights meeting or forwarding their ideas to us through email or by facebook.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
