Scam alert tonight Tuesday.
#SCAM ALERT: (Please Share) An elderly Christchurch resident, who lives alone, has received a threatening phone call tonight from a woman pretending to represent Meridian Energy from a subsidy company called “Power Online.” The scammer said she would cut off the 90-year-old's power at 9.30pm unless she paid $160.00. Please contact police if this happens to you or anyone you know... Her daughter has informed the phone company... I'll discuss this tomorrow on the radio show.

Cats Still Missing - NEW TO AREA - Please keep sharing
Please help us find Sid and Dizzy. Missing since 10th November around Leander Street, Northcote. They snuck away after a stressful move into town, and so will likely be confused and a bit timid.

We are particularly worried about Dizzy (black & white) he is older mainly a house cat and is VERY deaf : there were possible sightings of him on Joiners Ln (near Vagues Rd) not long after they went missing, but he's not been spotted since.
