Now that the holiday season is over it's time for all the WHAT artists to get extra busy preparing new work for this year's Easter event.
So far we have 32 local Artists and 12 exciting guests registered to take part. With 9 brand new Artists and the return of many popular exhibitors from previous years it looks like we are going to have another great show. As usual the event will take place over Easter weekend so put the date in your diary now, 15th & 16 April for Whangarei Heads Arts Trail. One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Warrant to arrest: Steven Te Maru Walters

The Team from Northland Police

Police are working to locate Steven Te Maru Walters, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.

Walters, 40, is wanted by Police in relation to breaching his release conditions and is known to frequent the Whangārei area. It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
