Grand Parade 2.30 pm Due to very limited horse float and horse truck parking space on the showground, the first 180 horse/pony entries received by mail with correct entry fee will be accepted. Please post entries to Entries Secretary Jan Laurie 4 Sneyd Street Tuatapere 9620 032266398

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
