The Voices of Sacred Earth Festival is a child friendly, drug and alcohol free eco-festival focusing on indigenous cultures, Earth wisdom, sacred ceremony, well-being and social change. With more than 100 inspiring transformational workshops, performances, indigenous world music, healing ceremonies and ancient earth based traditions, from local and international indigenous leaders, wisdom keepers, visionaries, inspirational speakers, healers, practitioner’s, gardeners, artists and musicians (including me). As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Warrant to arrest: Steven Te Maru Walters

Police are working to locate Steven Te Maru Walters, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.

Walters, 40, is wanted by Police in relation to breaching his release conditions and is known to frequent the Whangārei area. It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
