Seeking new Devonport Community House Manager
The Devonport Community House is seeking a new House Manager, to start at the end of January 2017. This full time position is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for community, enjoys variety and collaborating with other groups and organisations, is personable and has a strong service ethic.
Reporting to a volunteer Management Committee, through the Chair Person, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Managing and leading staff/ volunteers
• Delivery of events and activities
• Advertising and promoting including the use of social media
• Managing the financial operation and reporting requirements of a Charitable Organisation
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage time and competing priorities
• Intermediate level user of MS Office suit
• Experience in the community sector and an understanding of community development
• would be an advantage
