Donations for Kaikoura Region
Cashmere High School reception is teaming with cartons of donations for those affected by Monday morning's quake.
They are receiving donations all day today before 3pm.
All donations are being transported to Kaikoura via ship leaving Lyttleton.
Collecting items like;
Bottled water, canned foods, baby supplies, tea, coffee, animal foods, breakfast cereals, loo paper
Food, wipes, nappies, and other non-perishable baby supplies
Tinned or dried food, or treats for pets
And, NON-PERISHABLE food of any sort
Aid Organisations are requesting CASH to purchase necessary items as identified.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
