Christmas Cheer Appeal
Hi, I have recently joined a group called Mums on a Mission and we do a Christmas Cheer Appeal. We fill as many boxes as possible with new or good condition second hand items. Each boxes will end up
With 28 items. The boxes have themes such as boy or girl, baby, toddler or different age groups. Pamper boxes for ladies or gents, healthy boxes and food boxes just to name a few. These boxes are then donated to designated charities in Hawkes Bay or some are given to people who have applied. All the information is on mumsonamission.co.nz. We would really appreciate anything you could donate to help those less fortunate have a Merry Christmas. Thank you for taking the time to read this. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
