My name is Hoang Thi Nguyet Nguyen (Lucy), a student of Postgraduate Diploma in Business Enterprise at Southern Institute of Technology, Invercargill. As part of this course, I am conducting a research on the feasibility of opening a Vietnamese restaurant in Invercargill. This work will be helpful in not only developing a business idea but also providing more information on the current local hospitality industry. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
