Rotary Bookarama needs books

Make a note in your diary today - the Rotary Club of Cashmere is once again raising funds for charity with another Bookarama at the Addington Racecourse from Thursday 17 November to Sunday 20 November 2016

Now is the time for you to donate books, CDs, DVDs, jigsaws, records, or art for us to sell. Please drop them off at one of our collection points around the town from Saturday onwards. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
