A day fishing trip aboard the MV Manutere is a fantastic way to spend a day on the water, catch some fish, and experience what the ocean has to offer. Whether you’re a single person wanting a day out on the water, a family, or a workgroup, we can cater for you.
The destination varies depending on which areas are producing the most fish. The outlying reefs are regular destinations, the Penguins, Astrolabe reef, the Pinnacles and the Okaparus, with the offshore islands of Motiti and Tuhua (Mayor) also being regular fishing areas.
The Manutere has been taking out fishing trips out of Tauranga for the past 40 years. A purpose built charter fishing vessel with plenty of walk around fishing space, perfect for individuals or groups.
