The Taranaki Arts Trail boasts over 75 local artists and Places of Interest over a 160km journey around Mt Taranaki. It’s no wonder there are some amazing artists living here with the beautiful mountain and coastal location bursting with crisp vistas and inspiration everywhere you look. Plan your trip by starting in Stratford at the Percy Thompson Gallery where an exhibition showcases artwork from each artist registered on the Taranaki Arts Trail. Select which artists suit your liking and set off with your creative juices flowing – be inspired by the truly artistic minds which inhabit this region.
