Started as a blacksmith and repair shop in 1923 by Herbert Taege, Taege Engineering has emerged from its locally grown roots into a market leading agricultural engineering company specializing in providing the New Zealand agricultural industry with innovative machinery solutions demanded by New Zealand’s farmers and contractors.

With the development of our own proven patented angle-mounted vibrating tyne and tungsten faced tip system on all our ground engaging machines, we know that our agricultural equipment produces the best results in most conditions.

Taege’s range of products now include specialized seed drills for pasture renovation and cropping farms, cultivators, tyre rollers, post drivers and custom builds; with a range of upgrade options to suit any individual situation or terrain.

Now owned and operated by Keith Taege, Taege Engineering employs a dedicated and hardworking team of engineers and support staff in both Sheffield, Canterbury and the Middleton assembly plant in Christchurch.
