Sound Hope Chinese Clinic was first established in 2005. It offers treatments with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that is a system of primary health care in China dates back thousands of years. TCM treatments are including Chinese herbal medicine, Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, and Tui-na (Massotherapy)(Maclean & Shane, 1999).Acupuncture is the most well know aspect of TCM and evidence showing acupuncture treatment has significant positive effects for many conditions such as allergic rhinitis, knee osteoarthritis, chronic low back pain, etc (Mcdonald & Janz, 2017).
All professional practitioners working in the clinic are licensed registered with Acupuncture NZ and are ACC treatment providers. They bound by the Rules and Code of Professional Ethics of Acupuncture NZ and meet the compliant to maintain their Annual Practicing Certificate.
