Charitable Trusts
We have a team of volunteers who give time to the patients, their families and staff at Rotorua Hospital. They spend their time and expertise supporting people, holding the hands of the dying, crying with them, laughing with them, celebrating with those who have good news. We provide toilet bags to those patients who find themselves in hospital with nothing. We give teddy bears out to every patient who finds themselves in hospital over the Christmas period. Our mission is to provide spiritual care that helps people live with who they are. Spirituality is that which gives meaning and purpose to life. Hospital can be a lonely and scary place - our volunteers are there to just be with those who need someone to be with them.
