YEAR 7 to YEAR 13 is my main focus
I have been tutoring in Maths (and interestingly also in English), as a full time occupation, ever since I left teaching about 20 years ago.
I do one-on-one tutoring as this is the optimum method to resolve an individual's difficulties.
Obviously, as someone who is passionate about maths, I have no truck with maths on a computer. Not possible. Maths is all about the physical pencil-hand-arm-brain sequence. As shown in numerous scientific articles, a flickering (brain detects flickering) computer screen is not conducive to long term learning; also impedes actual "thinking ahead" learning.
