Kiwi eCycle are importers and distributors of electric bikes.
You may have seen us at the Island Bay or Newtown Fairs.
We started with one flagship model, Te waka, all all-rounder mountain bike style with a mid-drive motor. We now offer 5 models including more commuter options, step through frames, cargo style bikes and hub drive motors.
All of our bikes are pedal assist which means you have to pedal to get power from the motor. It works by sensing the torque on the pedals. Set the power level from 1 to 5 and as you pedal the motor kicks in to provide a little assistance or a lot.
We are based in Island Bay and you are welcome to contact us now to anytime to arrange a test ride or just have a look. You may even want to borrow one to try out your commute.
