All our tutors are talented teachers who build a close personal rapport with their students. We invite all parents and caregivers to be a part of our students’ success by maintaining a close relationship with their tutor and getting weekly feedback. Improved school results and increasing confidence are the two key components that we look for in every Kip McGrath student. With a dedicated teacher and loads of support and encouragement, every Kip McGrath student can experience success.
We offer tuition in Mathematics, English, ESOL, Science and NCEA topics as well as being experienced in dyslexia and other learning conditions. All programmes are aligned to the New Zealand curriculum and all students have an individual learning programme.
As the director of the centres, I have had a great deal of experience in many educational roles, especially 30 years teaching.The Kip McGrath Education Centre provides caring support to all students – from those needing extra Mathematics and English tutoring to students wanting to push themselves a little harder with our extension programmes.
