About Kates Kats and K9 Kare Pet Boarding.

We are Kate and Ron Thornton and own Kates Kats and K9 Kare Kennels, the place of choice for when you need a safe , caring environment to leave your pet for long or short stays.
We provide a good homely environment, where your pets will be expertly cared for on our Waikaka farm.
Because we are small, we take time with your pet to form that bond that is so essential for a stress free stay and they are all eager to return to us time and again.
The cats have full access to indoors and out, with many board walks and secluded beds.
Some small dogs are very sensitive and we give them extra care in our own home and they have separate accommodation from the big dogs.
Other dogs have spacious rooms with raised beds built around a court yard. There are large exercise areas where your pet can be safe alone or in company.
They are all walked every day weather allowing and all animals enjoy a quality diet to their taste and any medical care is included.
