My name is Jim Lockwood and I provide after-school tutoring in Karori.
What?
- Tutoring for years 7-10 in te reo Māori.
- A focus on gaining confidence and practical skills in speaking, reading and writing te reo Māori.
- Preparation for high school testing, essays, and NCEA.
Who?
I am currently a second-year university student studying at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. I am majoring in Māori studies which encompasses both te ao and te reo Māori.
How?
I will start by getting to know where you are on your language journey and target our tutoring sessions to ensure that you develop a comprehensive understanding of important language skills.
Where?
Online or in person based in Karori
When?
Either one-hour or 45-minute sessions, after school or anytime on the weekend.
Cost?
$30 for a 1-hour session, $25 for 45 minutes.
