John Backhouse – Travel Broker

My Brokering experience started way back in 1988, while after many years with Dalgety Travel etc I had gained a tremendous experience in Travel Management IE Retail; Groups; Conferences; Travel accounting; Marketing and staff motivation.

The world was changing (after the 87 Crash) and I saw an opportunity in having a more relaxed working environment, thus chose to register as a Travel Broker, I had a large Client base of which I was able to communicate with, and off I went.

Over the past 33 years I have used my personal Time Management to develop a life style in Brokering, Most of the time I was involved in many ways with the United Travel group and early 2002 I re-entered the Travel Retail world as a Director of the Hamilton franchise, worked both Corporate & retail, thru to Nov 2014 when the Company had a major change four directors semi retired and I moved to Papamoa to again work from home as a Broker.
The Key advantages are:-
A/ Working with Great clients and meeting their needs
B/ Working my own hours to suit clients and personal requirements
