I am a self-published children's book author. I write and illustrate fun picture books and chapter books for emergent readers.
I was born in the Czech Republic and as a child loved pretending being a teacher only to grow up to become one. My love of reading was enticed by my dad who would spend uncountable hours with his nose buried in books.
After meeting my husband when working in New Zealand, I settled in this beautiful country. We live in Auckland with our two daughters and two cats. I find inspiration for my books in my children but they are also the greatest and most gorgeous distraction from writing.
