Art Galleries
Inspirit Studio & Gallery is a spacious contemporary art gallery and sculpture garden located in a beautiful rural setting in Pencarrow Road, Tamahere between Hamilton & Cambridge. Inspirit exhibits a diverse range of original art and design by highly regarded New Zealand artists. This unique gallery has been described as a hidden gem in the landscape and an artistic sanctuary. The gallery overlooks the family farm, framed by Pirongia and Maungatautari. Jenny Scown, a professional photographer is the owner and curator of Inspirit Gallery. She is also a photographic artist exhibiting her framed photographs and fine art limited edition prints at Inspirit and other Waikato galleries. Inspirit exhibits a wide variety of mediums including ceramics, glass, jewellery textile art, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media, indoor and outdoor sculpture, furniture, fashion and woodwork. This year Inspirit celebrates ten years of showcasing the best of New Zealand art & design.
