Hi, I'm David Bursell of Hillcrest Electronics Ltd. I provide a wealth of experience in Computer Hardware and Software Support, new and used computers and all associated hardware and software for home and small business users. 37+ years experience in the IT field. My business was established in 1985.
In addition I provide a professional upgrade and repair service to Tivo Freeview Recorders now that the official service has ended. I can replace the PROM chip and update the software to enable your Tivo to continue to operate as it did, downloading TV guide data from the Community supported OzTivo service. This service has been extremely popular and I've been involved with this project from the beginning having modified over 350 Tivos so far. I'm also in daily contact with the volunteer developers who made this happen.
