Knitting Wool
Gumtree Gully Alpacas is a family run farm with a super cute herd of alpacas and onsite wool shop with commercial weaving loom.
We stock our own yarn plus a wide range of other NZ sourced yarns that are hand dyed here on the farm. We stock a range of 4ply, 8ply, 10ply and some chunky.
We also sell hand knitted products with a focus on items for littlies, these are great gifts for newborn bundles of joy, and all totally unique.
You'll also find knitting patterns and gorgeous buttons hand made by Nicci Duffy of "Buttons by Benji" fame :-)
Our weaving loom is a new addition and we are currently creating stunning 100% alpaca throw rugs, awesome wedding presents and gift for that special occasion or special someone.
Once we are out of lockdown, you are very welcome to visit, feed our fluffy friends and browse the shop, kid friendly and group bookings welcome.
