Teachers Coaches & Tutors
Get Ready Tutoring is owned and run by John Whelan. It offers 50-minute tutoring sessions online and in person for Health Sciences First Year (HSFY) and NCEA Chemistry and Physics. Both individual, and small group tutoring is available. During the summer holidays, tutoring is aimed at preparing you for the year ahead, and during the year the focus is on supporting and teaching you, and improving your grades.
John is a 3rd-year medical student at the University of Otago who performed highly throughout high school and his first years at university. He is kind, friendly, and good at explaining the many challenging concepts that you will come across during high school and HSFY.
