At Edukids Wairakei your child will be in the best hands. We offer quality early childhood education and child care in our centre “to make a positive difference in the lives of children”. We have strong community connections with the local schools (Isleworth School and Roydvale School) in our area to support the children with their transition to school.
We have separate age appropriate rooms because we believe it supports the different stages of children’s learning. We have a beautiful nursery room which caters for children aged 3 months to 2 years. We provide a primary care system for the young children as this helps the children to be supported with their care and development, promote their well-being through nurturing, caring and responsive relationships. We encourage our children to learn through play and planned group experiences.
Our preschool room caters for children aged 2 to 5 years and this offers a variety of challenging and socially interactive activities for our pre-schoolers. Our preschool children come together for their individual age group times – 2, 3, and 4 year old – with the four year olds participating in our ‘Be School Ready’ programme. This helps them develop vital skills such as literacy, numeracy and working alongside others to ensure they are ready for school. Our children are offered a variety of experiences each day which focus on their current interests. We have an engaging interactive environment for your child to learn, play and explore in.
Our centre is always welcoming, bright and interactive. Our dedicated and qualified team are musical, creative and dramatic. We pride ourselves on the warm, lasting relationships we form with children and their families, and the positive feedback we receive from families of children that have transitioned smoothly to school and who are currently in our care.
