We think it takes a lot of courage to admit when we've come to the end of our capacity to solve our issues. Most of us like to sort stuff in our heads, keeping our pride and self-sufficiency intact.
But we believe that good counselling provides a safe, neutral space in which to make progress when the DIY approach has run its course. Essentially it's about giving yourself permission to share the confusion, frustration, sadness, hopelessness and distress. In looking at things together it is possible to make sense of the hard stuff, grieve the losses, heal the hurts and find a way forward with strength and hope for your future.
