WEEKEND/AFTER SCHOOL/WORK DRUMMING LESSONS

Hi there! I am excited to offer weekly private drum lessons in Swannanoa. All ages and skill levels welcome. Beginners, don't be shy. I believe that there is a closet drummer in everyone, just bursting to get out!
I have over 10 years of experience as a drummer and have been a full-time itinerant drumming tutor since graduating from CPIT Jazz School in early 2015 (BMusArts).
I have recorded with names such as Dru Castro (Grammy Award winning producer), Moorhouse (X Factor NZ), and have shared concert bills with the likes of Dragonforce (USA). I also tour with my jazz/covers band The Velvetines, and have performed in musical theatre shows such as Grease and Cabaret. I am experienced in a plethora of musical styles such as jazz, latin, rock, metal, pop and electronic music.
I model my teaching style to suit the unique personality of each student. Areas covered include, but are not limited to: developing great technique & stick control, coordination, groove & dynamics, reading music notation, with the underlying goal of learning songs. I use state-of-the-art equipment in lessons and create a fun environment for students to learn.
Weekly lessons are $30 per 30 minutes. Spaces are limited so get in touch ASAP if interested!
