Situated on the water's edge with circling views of the Waitemata Harbour, Akarana Eatery has been developed as part of the Hyundai Marine Sports Centre, the new home of the historic Royal Akarana Yacht Club, with inspiration from Nic Watt and his love of boating and seafood. Akarana Eatery has been developed to bring together fresh, seasonal and approachable dining inspired by its unique surroundings.
Akarana Eatery is part of the Akarana Sports Charitable Trust. All proceeds from Akarana Eatery go towards actively promoting and providing sports education, recreation and leisure opportunities to the community of Orakei, Auckland and beyond; providing a safe and well informed environment in which people can grow and explore in and around the sea.
