First National Collective Stratford

First National Collective is a real estate company evolved from and founded on it's predecessor First National Allied Farmers, who successfully serviced the Taranaki province for over 120 years.

We have been a member of the New Zealand and Australia wide First National Group since 1999, offering a much broader base of client connections and referrals and the ability to capitalise on the national network while retaining the advantage of local ownership and identity.

Our offices are situated in Stratford, Hawera and New Plymouth and specialise in the marketing of residential, rural, lifestyle and commercial properties, as well as providing rental Property Management services.

The long established rural sales side of the business has for many years performed particularly well, traditionally achieving a market share of 50% or greater of farm sales in Taranaki each year.

About this property
This 69 hectare dairy farm situated in the attractive Bristol Road area close to the well known " Stoney Oaks" animal park has had considerable improvements and upgrading carried out in recent years by the current owners.

The four bedroom plus office / rumpus room home has been completely revamped, refurbished and modernised internally to present today as a near new home. With the introduction of new windows and sliding glass doors the outlook and views are outstanding.

Around the farm, the 21 bail rotary cowshed has had an in-shed feed system installed and has cup removers and auto teat spray. A new 3 bay calf rearing shed with an extra enclosed bay for feed storage has been built. Another 3 bay implement shed has one bay enclosed and lockable with concrete floor and power. There is another large implement shed plus two outlying supplement sheds.

The effluent system has been upgraded with two holding ponds with effluent spread to land via hydrants and a travelling irrigator. The current consent expires December 2045. A new Grunfos CR5 multi stage pump has been installed which pumps from a dam to both troughs around the farm and the cowshed.
Over the past three seasons between 175 and 190 cows have been calved with production averaging 69,579 kg milk solids.
With 3 hectares of turnips grown annually, pasture renewal is occurring overtime with annual grass supplement produced being 150 bales of silage (10's) and around 50 bales of hay (15's).

For a new owner an impressive amount of work has been carried out by our vendors in recent years allowing the next owner a great start to ownership in this well located and attractive farm.

Open Days: Tuesday 22nd October and 5th November 11am.

Deadline Sale Close Wednesday 20th November at 1pm (if not sold prior), 269 Broadway Stratford.
